If you have never been, I definitely reccomend checking it out if you're looking for something to do in the area. It has a little something for everyone, and is actually quite interesting. We were able to see some old Coca-Cola paraphenalia and artifacts, as well as watch some old advertisements and taste coca-cola drink products from around the world. We had a great time, but where ever we go somehow Ashley and I manage to have something crazy happen to us. This time, we managed to be witness to a large disaster in the bottling/manufacturing part of the Coke Museum tour... and quite literally had coke bottles nearly fall on us after toppling off the conveyer in the ceiling. Later we found out it was due to a new bottle design that is lighter and a slightly different shape, and they had just started using it on the production line. Luckily everyone was unscathed!
After we finished at the museum, we decided to go check out the CNN Center. We were able to get lunch in the food court and see the inside of the larg HQ, although the expensive tour will have to wait till another day! We then headed off to visit with our friend Lindsey and her family, and spent a couple of hours filling eachother in on life. Too soon it was time to head back and begin another week!
